“Daren and his staff have trained my dog since he was a pup. I am pleased to say I now have a well-mannered 180 dog because of 5 Star. We wouldn’t let our dog stay anywhere else! They treat my dog like he was a part of their own family. The facility is always clean and the animals are relaxed (that says a LOT about the care they receive). I would recommend 5 Star to everyone!”

“We have been using Five Star for over a year now and we just love it. We use Five Star Pet Resort for grooming, boarding and training. We rescued our dog and had no idea how large he would grow to be. When he reached the 100 pound mark we decided mommy needed a little help with training. I spent one hour with Daren Hamlin and our dog was walking on a leash, sitting, staying and in general so well behaved. We see them every month for a bath and whenever we head out of town. The staff is friendly and they love the dogs. They take their job seriously and honestly it is the cleanest facility I have ever seen. I highly recommend them.”

“I would never leave my pups anywhere else. Daren and staff trained Wendall, my Maltipoo and he will training my newest addition Bella, a rescue Bichon. They love these dogs as much as I do and take great care of them. Their Groomer is amazing! The facility is amazing! The Staff is truly amazing. The dogs and I feel like part of the 5 Star family!”

“We have an adopted Great Pyrenees. She was starting to take over our house and we looked around for a dog trainer. The stuff on TV makes it look so easy, but that could not be further from the truth. We found Darren at 5 star resort and started in the weekly training program. We both bring our dog in and have a session. We both have to be there just like family counseling . Then we have homework to do for the next week. This has worked great. No rough stuff. Firm but loving instruction for the dog. We are back in charge at home and our dog is much happier. Unlike most people who like dogs and put out a sign that says trainer, this guy is the real deal. We are very pleased with the price, experience and results.”

“Daren and his staff are exceptional, they are “dog people”. Cooper has gone through two weeks of in-board training and Darbie has gone through one week. They both were trained and preformed as promised. Most impressive was the time Daren took to work with me and the dogs when they were picked up. Neither one came home stressed and Cooper seemed eager to go back for his second week of training. I immediately gained control of them on-leash and in general, they listen and obey commands off-leash. I highly recommend Five Star Dog Resort! Daren is eagar and willing to give a tour, so go check the facility out.

Great Training, Excellent Day Care and Boarding! by drdees

Santa brought us a new yellow lab for Christmas. We knew she would have a great deal of energy and would need to work that off, and also have some obedience training as well. We checked out the Five Star Resort. I first noticed how clean it was. It SMELLS clean! The owner has over 17 years of dog training as well. We are always greated with smiles, because these people are passionate about what they do. The love dogs. Training has been a dream. Probably more challenging for the owners that for our puppy! We now receive compliments all the time on her behavior. I would recommend, and I do recommend whenever asked this business. I would not go anywhere else. Piped in music for the dogs, filtered water, covered play area outside w/ wading pool for play. Large roomy suites, not kennels. All good stuff for the demanding dog owner!

“Kristina is Jackson’s BEST groomer in his 9 short years–and he’s had a few. She is so great with my frisky Shih Tzu. Jackson loves her. And dogs are no stranger to her–she loves them. She has three of her own. Jackson actually gets excited now when I ask him if he’s ready to go get a haircut. From his very first cut with her, he’s looked like a new dog. I’ve recommended her to four of my neighbors on our doggie walks, when they’ve asked me where I get his grooming. He looks great, and you will love her too!”

“Christina is an excellent groomer-my dog loves her and he always looks great when he leaves.

He also loves the boarding kennel-roomy, clean, and we always book the “in and out” room, so he can go where he wants. Amazingly, every time we go in the lobby, he gets excited to be there. never had that at a grooming place or boarding place before. that’s says alot.”

“Five Star Dog resort treated my dogs so great when I took them in for a grooming. My wife is extremely picky (as most of us pet owners are) but when we left, our dogs were bouncing around and were so happy and relaxed. The owner himself gave them their “pawdicure” and was so knowledgable about training and gave great recommendations on dog food for us. this is the ONLY place you should take your dogs for grooming or training.”
